Ok, monday morning, my channel still not working well..

Wasnt present on sat, therefore I cant blog about it. Only roughly know that:

1. Marvin brought fat jack out

2. Bella went out as well

3. It was raining heavily

4. Both marvin and jack couldnt catch up with the rest

5. Jeanine drove the others (dogs and human) back from pet movers because of the super big rain

Then on Sunday...

It has been a long time before we hit the swimming pool with our furkids.

Miss Piggy came too!

I was attacked by the TWO terrorists the moment i enter block 2... yes TWO.
 Nicole was sent back to kennel due to her kennel cough. :/ as expected.
This stupid girl, her strength and bites doubled, i wonder did the person inject steroids in her.
 And her tolerance level for pain increased. I was chewed and mauled like free..
Joy is another one. arghhh sometimes feel like strangling them when they do that. ( Nah, u know im kidding....)

Too bad for the two terrorists,, they are black listed by Ah Beng due to their bad records in swimming pool.

I took Puopi, Anna and friend (wanying?) took the fat siblings, Huiyi took hazel, Tricia took Remy, minghui took piggy and chilli, Ning took muddie and viv took her car and the daiso leash.

At a point of time I was soooo touched that puopi can walk so obediently beside me *insert love*

Of course cannot let the first timer get away with it by running around the pool and not getting into the water.

So puopi was tricked into the pool, struggled like mad, the amount of splash he created totally block my vision @.@

The second time, he became smarter. Once i leash him, he froze and refused to move.

The consequences? Multiple scratches on my arms and thighs. I had to call for SOS from Minghui.

. Life saviour. but she herself suffered more scratches cause she hold him for a longer time..

 Eh, I have to clarify, this thigh NOT MINE!! Its Minghui's!!

It will be all worth it at the end of the day, just look at Muddie, months ago when we first brought him to swim, he flipped like a fish, struggle like mad and onlookers gave us countless stares and judged us, thinking that we are torturing the dogs. PLEASE! LOOK AT HOW MUDDIE SWIM LIKE A SECOND BOSS TODAY. Theres a reason behind everything we do... And we know what we are doing.

Remy was good in water once he get in.. Attempted to use treats to lure him in, and my treats ended up floating in the water...

I remembered Hazel falling into the pool by accident..(just got to know a man kicked her in -_-")
 She really suay. Suay not because she fell in, suay because I did not help her up after she fall, instead, I dragged her for a swim.

Aiya, since already in the water, dont waste ma... Save our energy to catch and leash and pull u in. HAHAHA.

Yenyen as usual was lying in the middle of no where sun tanning... She can swim one, but just being lazy...

Piggy is one of the top swimmers, she can jus jump into the middle part of the water without supervision or coaxing.

Hazel went to play with other dog's toy, and huiyi went to get her a ball of her own. Tell you, hazel 深藏不漏. She can play fetch!!! How many dogs in the shelter could do that?? *Applause for her please*

Sky was getting dark, and we queued up to bath.. Puopi slowly got accepted by Tui and now he could stand beside him without being bitten. Power of packwalk. He(Puopi) loves bathing... he would stand at the bathing point with the others even thou its not his turn yet. And chilli rested her small head on his neck while bathing, seriously ute scene. Too bad none of us had our phone with us.

While I was bathing puopi and minghui bathing i dunno who, a handsome uncle (look like 谢贤 number 2) was telling us that it was nice of us to bring the shelter dogs out.. his was a lengthy retriever. Then they (uncle and mh) touched on the topic of bringing the dogs to the pool, mh told him initially we bring quite a big pack but we cut down after being warned by the management. Another man, *side state* commented something he should have kept to himself...

he said: "If me i also wouldnt be happy to see so many mongrels in the pool"

HELLO..I hear liao 几不爽!

Remy: "Did I heard you say you dont like us to come???" 

i 忍。。。。。。。。。。。。。
Minghui explained to him that we have already cut down the numbers of dogs we bring, all our dogs were vaccinated and we only come once a month or once every 2 months, 很过分meh?!

Stop judging the strays, they are dogs too. The pool is open for public, so what if your dogs are of pedigree? So what if your dogs are imported and purhased at a high price? To us, our shelter dogs are more precious than any of them and they deserve to enjoy.

When I observed, 90% of the time , its the "pedigrees" who are barking, chasing the others, running abt with super high pent up energy and get into fights. Our dogs did not do anything apart from smelling the grass, lying on the floor and jog around the pool.

So now, who should we ban based on behaviour?

Not that I want to create unhappiness between pedigree owners and mongrel owners, but most of the time this is what happen. i thank those who appreciates and praise our dogs, i thank those who didnt shun or pick up their precious babies when out dogs pass by, i thank those who appreciates what we are doing..

we dont need recognition and credits from you to continue what we are doing, but we hope you could think twice before u pass any hurtful an ignorant comments and SASQ! (learnt from marvin and youtube -.-)

back to bathing. Caught chilli and muddie eating grass.

Wanted to take a pic with tui and as i put my chin over his head (like wad i normally do), he jumped up all of a sudden, hit my chin and i bit the back of my gums.

 fml. the impact was so great that i suffered from headache after that.

And yenyen jus sat infront of a lady and her super small maltese look alike dog for like 10 mins? nv move nv bark, just stare. it was super epic. she always like to do this kind of weird weird things one...

1 min..... 2 min....3 min...... 5 min.... 10 min.....

The lady commented: such a rare and tamed dog.

You see!!!! so proud of her..

Then we walked back to shelter and saw the few pups. Got nibbed when i try to feed them treats. They jus bite whatever they see.. so painful.

thats why i call it a scratches and wounds day :(

Hi Piggy! Arent You tired after the swim?

Yes you are.

I decided to pop by Expo for the RPO event as Viv and Jac are still there..

finally saw Desperate housewife- Bear bEar from muttsandmitten in real life.. very sweet n curly hair..

Realised i had most of the nicer tees liao.. Nanas and ALL one so i shouldnt buy more..

Visited SOSD's booth and thats my first time seeing Cinnamon and Ginger. Cinnamon is much more thinner than what I expected and ginger is so small!! like dusty's size.. both of them are super friendly they wag their tails like electric fans.

Now i think twice before I do this pose.......

(as im typing this, im not on bus nor the train, im sitting in LOL kennel with hazel beside me, and mh standing on the chair)

back to cinnamon. He is one of the easiest dog to walk i swear. As i bring him out, i gained alot of attention from the people.. erm..

was it because im very cool holding a big mongrel?

or was it because cinnamon look very funny/fierce

ir was it because our combi is weird?

blahhhhh .. went back in after he relief himself.

Before i left, i saw those poor shihtzus / poodles fur being dyed until 不三不四.. looks cool and unique, but i wonder how the dogs feel. maybe they feel like a clown.

U see the shihtzu face!!! like so buay song that its hair become like that!

the two shihtzus can only sit/lie on the table to showcase their hair. hais pity them.

i went home after that. K.O-ed for 2.5 hours..

And I dreamt that....

Puopi is actually not a dog.. He is actually an Angel.. Drop from the sky.
His face/features are like flat flat one (like a pc of paper), no distinct eyes, nose etc.
Something like a paper doll that come alive.

As to how he ended up in the shelter... he was chased away by bangala with brooms and scrapper the minute he landed on earth... In order to avoid being beaten, he ran and ran and ran, and managed to hide in the current shelter for protection.

Thats where he met us and become the puopi now.

Ok end of story.

Vaccination Day and Where is Nicole?!

Ahhh.. I was too sleepy to combine 2 posts in one last night.

Sunday was like a normal day, only sad thing was that I need to take a cab there because hongwee no car liao T_T

Slapped back to reality.

When I reached the shelter, something wasnt right. Instead of 2 dog pouncing on me, now I only had one- Joy.

WHERE IS NICOLE?!

We tried searching for her up and down, in and out, kennels to kennels, blocks to blocks.

She was still there before we left yesterday... The bangala had no idea either.. Zahid said she followed a lorry out. follow? as in follow behind or she was in a lorry??

We couldnt do anything as we have no leads, the only thing we can do is to wait for her rescuer to reply. I was rather sure she had brought Nicole to the vet... (at that point of time).

I didnt go for pack walk as I had to make sure Puopi was vaccinated, as well as to help out while the other dogs get vaccinated.. [VACCINATED is such a long word to type -.- im lazy]

The vet was late, so in the meantime we did some housekeeping and organising, while minghui continue standing on the chair and the rest (hongwee,ning, nikki, ann, huiyi and jeanine - did i mis out anyone?) goes for small packwalk to halus, AGAIN. Jac and Joyce reached a little bit later and stayed back to help with the vaccination too.

Ok, sounds noob but this is the first time i learn how to put accurate on a dog..Those small small bottle one, not the usual spraying kind.

And my time record?

 After jac they all apply 4-5 dogs, Im still at the same dog. Eh, not because im lousy..

its because that dog is Guinness.. stress de leh...

Have to apply on his back and cannot just apply on fur, have to separate his fur and apply directly on the skin..

At the same time i must pray that he dun jus ki siao and bite me. tsk. tough job hahaha.

By the time i finished applying, the vet come liao.. went over to block 4, started with little remy and robin.. forgot who was vaccinated with kennel cough- rocky?

Remy is a strong boy... everyone stood up while the vet take a sample of their blood, he is the only one lying down with belly facing up. Cute max.

The vaccinations were faster than I thought. Tuckwah and pathrine was there as well..

Next kennel.. our LOL kennel..

most of the dogs had their jabs rather quickly.. The only 2 that makes ppl stress are Guinness and TUX..

You should know lah, whats new right.

Tux jus snapped at Mh the day before, and guinness is so unpredictable..

Joyce/ jac helped to hold on to Tux's head while they jab, and me brushing guinness head and keep talking to him, in hope to distract him..

Heng ah, we survived the most difficult part. Chilli just froze in one corner like how she was when she first came in, with the 抽筋 expression.

The next kennel was block 2, auntie karen100's dogs. This one.... is far more challenging than our Mr cranky.. because apart from puopi, i never really interact with the other 3 dogs, neither did pathrine or joyce..

So we went to ask the bangala for help. This bangala is a nice one, not like zahid. Will ask for his name next time. always talk to him but didnt get to know his name. and at that time, ning brought peanut back for some test alr..

im rather confident that puopi wont give any problem.. and he nv let me down.

Its the other 3 dogs that gives us headache. The fat fat male dog (jack) that most of u say is manja, growled and swear at the bangala when he bring the leash... super fierce.. i helped to leash him with a bathing leash, thats the best i could do liao 😐 Luckily he was muzzled because he struggled like mad and growl in a very scary way when they tried to jab him. The other 2 still quite ok..

While the vet and the rest went over to mdm wong there to vaccinate some other dogs, I finally had a break to eat the bread brought by pat...

Minghui was practising her packleadership by growling back at the dogs as they stared at her ba hu bread while she eat..

Finally had time to bring puopi out for a walk... thats my mission of the day.

He was rather good on leash, just that he behaves like a puppy like remy they all , curious about everything.

So together with Minghui and Chilli, we walk to 'West Mall' (Pasir ris west plaza incase some of you dunno the inside joke) under the scorching hot sun.

Minghui abandoned the 3 of us outside while she went in to grab some stuff for the shelter. I stayed there like 街头艺人, the only lacking thing was a metal bowl or box for people to donate money... so many people walked past us, some gave irritated faces, some were smiling. Thank you to those who smiled, I hope fat chilli and cute puopi made your day..

Chilli: "Minghui ah... U faster come out ah... I going to dehydrate liao... I.... I.... need water.. and Guinness....I dun wan puopi.."

Puopi: "Why u dont want me leh? I very ugly mehhh?"

Made friend with an auntie who was waiting for cab beside me.. She very ke lian because from the time mh abandon us until she comes back for us, still no cab!!!

The auntie told me she has cats and dogs of her own too, so can see she is one of those cats lovers :)

Walked back and kiss goodbye to my tui before i leave...

ok.. still got another exciting part. i reaching office liao.. maybe in the next post! hahahaah.

As I stepped into an unfamiliar, ulu and dimly lit factory in hope to look for Nicole,

A few stray dogs approached me, checking me out.. and after wandering for about 5 minutes, I saw a dog which look like her, dragging itself towards me..

when I managed to get a closer look, I really really hope thats its not her..

The dog was suffering from very very jialat wounds, jialat cannot even describe how serious and gross the wounds are..

Pieces of the skins are dangling from all parts of her body as thou somebody had skinned it off on purpose..

When I wanted to help her up, I realised the wounds are nothing compared to the scene i was about to digest...
She had a hole in her throat and I could totally see her internal parts, and as she cough and gasps for air, the blood would gushed out..

Im on the verge of fainting..

"how am i supposed to help her in this state?!!?!?!? die already die already..."

My mind went black tht instance, and a factory uncle walked past me.. I called for his help to save her..

Instead of helping her and bringing her to safety, he grabbed her by her hind legs, dragged her across the floor and dumped her in a pile of garbage...

*my heart was feels like it was stabbed with alot of knives at the moment*

I was lost for words....... panickly, the next thing I could think of was to look for minghui and see how can we save nicole...I remember her splitting ways with me and she is at some other part of the factory..

I dont know why, I choose to ask the uncle for help to drive me around to look for minghui..

He was driving a lorry...

Instead of going round the factory, he drove out to the main road...

and I stunned. Where the hell is he bringing me to?!

and he replied: You are not going to look for your friend..

I asked him to let me off and he refused... And so within minutes, I gathered my courage and jumped off the lorry..

Luckily I did not die nor injured myself, if not I wouldnt be here...

But! I wasnt far from the psycho uncle!!!

and so I picked myself up, beat the red lights and ran to the nearest bus stop which was rather crowded with working adults.. I supposed its about 6pm plus 7pm or so..

A man then stand beside me and said: "you just ran across the road without waiting for the green man, and its illegal.." the way he put it across sounds like im in deep shit, maybe he is one of the LTA or Mo-bai or traffic police who is waiting for prey..... and im one of the prey.. :X

I apologised and promised never to do it again (Bloody hell I almost die you still expect me to wait for red light?!)

then I ran into a backyard which looks abit like Nanas toilet..

Alot of dogs, of Miller's size, in different colors came pouncing on me non stop....

It was very very chaotic and I had a hard to pushing them off me...

and I saw No friend lynn inside, cooking.. She had cut her hair into shoulder length,and she ask:

You all want to eat Sushi Tei together anot?

and that was the end of my very disturbing and random "noon-mare".

I really hope next time, if any of our dogs are going for homestay or out of the shelter, pls at least let us know before hand or at least give us some mental preparation.

All of us love the dogs dearly... everyone was worried sick when we know that Nicole couldnt be found in the shelter...

And this is what happens when I think of her too much..

The dream haunted me for the next 2-3days, it was so real, I couldnt erase the scene when she was gasping for air with the hole in the throat..

And I miss her sooo..... I wonder if the adopter is able to handle her naughtiness, I wonder if they would notice her coughing and bring her to the vet, Im worried if she would be treated with TLC or would she be abused, i wonder.....

Nicole, pls take care of yourself (as if you know how to), STAY OUT OF TROUBLE and although you are one irritating terrorist, your prescence really makes a difference in Block 2..

All the best for your homestay, at least you no need to be locked up anymore...

Our Doggies Move House Loh!

Hello everybody!

Long time no see! I got no time to blog, and nothing much to blog about.

Well, this weekend is a rather 'boring' one, with not much exciting pictures because our pack is very small and our photographer off day ah..

My weekend was spent with:

It was a last minute decision to head down and by the time I reach, the others are ready to go home..

This stupid Guinness bite people again..

Geh siao look so calm and sweet.. I will find a chance to take vid or photo of him becoming cranky.. Maybe as Zahid to be the bait.. Success rate : 99%

When Hongwee tried to bath him, he snapped 3 times. But I guess he (G) didnt really want to attack him (HW), because if he (G) really wants him (HW) dead, he (G) would have jumped on his (HW) face and chew him(HW) into pieces, but he (G) did not. So... give him (G) some credit la hor.

The rest left and so I was left alone with Mh..... and the dogs..

There was Ida and Pat, but pat left shortly after..

Then..... when Ida (the malay lady who will be cleaning and feeding the dogs in LOL kennels in the future) came into the kennel, we warned her about Guinness and his crankiness..

 Maybe he sensed her fear, so even thou she avoided eye contact with him and walk straight, he ran up to bite her pants.. There I was, shouting and chasing him away. This stupid boy.. Really unpredictable. He tried his luck for a 2nd time, and DENG DENG DENG DENG!! His 克星appeared!! Guess who??? *GRIN*

Guinness's expression was epic. and he ran about and lie beside me, suddenly I became his bff. Lol!

I spent the next 1-1.5 hours unscrewing all the nails and fixing them back.
Someone still can proudly comment: "Wah, I train all of you until so man..."

Ya thanks huh, this is the man-iest task I have done in my whole life.

While I commit my life in fixing the stupid rack in the rain, the dogs are snoozing away.. Arghhhh...

Went over to block 2 to play with my LOVES. Nicole was coughing/choking away, Puopi was playing with Joy, Tui was jealous and he tried to jio YenYen to play with him but was totally ignored.... Failed as a brother.
