The long awaited and anticipated VA Christmas Party is finally here!!
Puopi: Hello! You all bringing me out go party ah?
The first best thing is that we survived doomsday (I always believe it wont happen one lah)
Our secret santa game has been gg on for about 1 month. Drawed twice. And most of us has already secretly ask one another: "Eh.. you are whose secret santa ahhh.. share leh...".
Just that luckily until now, I have yet to asked someone who happen to be my Santa.
Logitic wise, due to lack of manpower,
Food for the day was pot luck - and our daily group chat content revolves around

FOOD
and more
FOOD.
Bring what food, eat what food, cook what food, like what food. LOL.
The day started out with Me, Jiahui, Weijie, Marvin, Changmeng, Joei and Mark (Jeanine's husband) fetching the dog. Reached shelter about 920am? Played with the dogs and Jingle shy-ly came out to look see look see..
Went inside to feed her some treats as well as observe how she behaves.
Apart from Tui, Nicole is also starting to learn how to catch treats when we throw it in the sky. Yenyen is able to do it too, just that shes too fat and lazy. The only slow one is Joy, when i throw, the treat never fail to just hit her head and bounce on the floor -___-".

Pretty yet irritating Nicole
It was a challenging bringing puopi out of the kennel without someone blocking the 2 terrorist off. I had to ask weijie leash and chain nicole to the fence before I can exit and then release the leash. Nicole wasnt being very co-opertative and she is hyper active. Brought them out to relief themselves before the sit the car. Just in case~ When the cages came, both Peanut and Puopi had the exact same reaction - which is to backaway while staring at the cage fearfully. Had a hard time coaxing puopi into the carrier and Mark suggest to make2 trips (because Puopi and jack cannot sit together at the back of the car) .
And so I went ahead first.. Was super stressed and scared that Puopi will vomit/ laosai/ attempt to escape by banging the window or windscreen (He had a past record). We put him at the back of the car while i hold on to his leash infront and he attempt to crawl infront. We stayed in that position throughout the journey, he was generally ok apart from panicking when the car brakes/increase speed. My arm and bag are filled with his saliva -_-" (I was smart enough to bring new set of clothes). Heng he did not suffer from car sick and we were the first pair to reach Jeanine's hse..

Puopi settled in rather quickly, he was all curious about its surrounding, and when Miller came out, I was still afraid that he would turn aggressive, but no! They got along well. :) Muddie came out and I gave him a big big hug <3

The rest slowly reached one by one.. The food are really salivating good. Gilbert brought Ice cream along too :) Little white Chihuahua, petite yet fiesty. Its so cute when you see how it walk around the house beside dogs that are10x its size. If we were to have a fancy dress competition, she confirm win. Know why??

We had some special guests like Fred and Shirley, and Kimmy (The construction site dog which we saw during pack walk, she just had an abortion). Kimmy is one super friendly dog, tail wagging non stop, go about kissing people BUT buay seng mok. She was at least be sweared at by 4 other dogs because of her no boundaries and limitation.. Same like nicole like that..
Our dogs had "Ruk Sam Sao" aka triangle love.
Kimmy wants puopi, Puopi wants toto, toto wants kimmy. So wrong.
Old fat jack wants to hump the younger dogs too. tsks.

Ice cream k.o-ed after her fashion show. She must be really tired to entertain all the humans.
I guess everyone had their top few favourite food of the day.. Mine were RK's potato salad with bacon bits, Jeanine's sheperd pie and the red color gassy drink (Was it F&N?). We have a whole spread of good food on the table, even the dogs cant resist it. Paris lynn ordered a Xmas dog cake for the dogs, while jeanine baked the dogs sheperd pie as well. They gobbled all within a few minutes.

For humans, we had curry, bee hoon, my egg mayo, Viv's avocado (was it a sauce?), popiah, hashbrown, nugget, vegan sushi, potato, and many more lah...

Minghui and Hongwee were arguing about their dessert because nobody dare to give hongwee face to try his "Caramel" pudding, minghui was super relunctant to try it HAHHAHA. Whereas her own chocolate mousse (which was after that being mistaken as MILO mousse) was quite popular and well received. Yuan Zhi's cheese cake is nice too :) And I missed out Huiyi's jelly lah......
Hongwee's only supporter for his pudding was Camcam, he super enjoy eating it. HHAHAHA.

We had face painting session too. I helped Minghui customised a very yan dao look:
Cant stop giggling and laughing when I paint. NFL told me to draw a mole secretly. And I ask her where, when minghui closed her eyes she faster point at the spot AHAHAHA.. End result....
After that was my turn. Initially I wanted thick eye brow and moustache, but then again, I dun wan to be same as Minghui HAHAHA, so I chose rainbow instead :))

I dont know how to describe but the feeling is just awesome.. the christmas tree, christmas carols, food, dogs, most importantly HUMANS.
Cant thank enough each and everyone who turned up for this special event, to make it happen to the dogs even if its just 2 shelter dogs. Its my first dog party that ever came true.

Its really nice seeing all the dogs getting along, with humans of age gap from 14- 60 plus all under one roof, chilling, chatting and enjoying ourselves. This is like the best Christmas celebration i have ever had. Without anyone today, the party wouldnt be complete. And thanks to Jeanine and Mark again for being such a great host :D
Guanyinma boh-bi, it only started raining about 4 plus 5 when everyone start to leave.
The few of us sent the dogs back to the shelter and by then it was raining quite heavily.
Jeanine's husband is really nice to give us a lift back, wait for us, he even went into the shelter barefooted to check on the dogs and see how its going, and finally gave me and weijie a lift home. Really appreciate his efforts and patience.
