Summary for the past 1 month (VA'S VERY OVER-DUED CNY PARTY)

ELLO!! IM BACK!!

Typing on my new ASUS lappy, no more hanging, no more waiting. Shiok ah..

 

Let me have a quick recap on what had happened for the past 1 month..

 

Conducted my first mini lesson at lorong halus, was rather well prepared for the materials but i sucked at giving presentations lah. Many thanks and apologies to my 'students' that day for being patient with what I had to share and explain. And also thanks to Minghui and weijie for helping to add on things that i wasnt able to put it across clearly.

So what we have gone through were:

1) what is classical conditioning?

2) what is operant conditioning and the 4 quadrants involved. (this is the most confusing theory part) 

3) leash pressure on dogs

its easy being said, but more often than none, we arent able to put it into action nor keep it in mind while we are handling the dogs, this is where we need ALOT of practice. Rmb to release the leash once the dog give in to u! its super important. Should the dog be pulling side ways, its not counted as giving it (if u give in, u are indirectly rewarding it for pulling around) so, you will need to judge when is right and when is wrong. 

 

 

then...

 

we had our first VA Chinese new year party at Viv's palace! This time round with lesser humans and dogs because some of them cant make it E.g. Merman, Gilbert, Hongwee, Ning, Phoebe etc.
But you all are always in our heart

 

 

The day started out with Yonglin coming over to my side to prep for our mushroom dishes.
Its pot luck once more and obviously its not very nice to bring egg mayo again, no creativity sia that dish. Ok its not even considered a dish -_- . This time round we prepared bacon with Enoki/Inoki mushroom and our self invented - dunno what mushroom plus mince meat/mashed potato dish. It turns out to be quite appetizing in terms of appearance. ;) Buay pai ah. got potential to become chef.

We were the first to reach her house despite being late to catch a ride from Fengyi. haha. Was greeted by a super big and spacious living room. And i thought we were gonna celebrate there, until they said: put the food upstairs.. all the things are at 2nd floor. i: "?!?!?!"

as i walked up my jaw dropped. Now i know why Minghui say her jaw dropped when she went to viv's . (OK LA YA LA I SUA GU LA. BUT REALLY UR JAW WILL ALSO DROP IF U WERE THERE I SWEAR)

Theres a very chio outdoor shelter with swimming pool plus waterfall, inside is mini bar and another living room alike place to chill. The others reached one after another and we had our Lou Hei together ^^ her parents were very nice to give us an angbao each :)

Although this time round we only have 2 dogs- Muddie and Angel, we have 2 babies around to keep us entertained!

we had a tour around the palace, guess what? we took her legendary private lift !!  5-7 sua gus getting super hyped over the lift. Whats so special? my house outside also got lift leh. 1st to 12 floor somemore. NONONO her lift is special one. 1st to 4th level IN HER OWN HOUSE, neighbours cannot share one please. 

Almost wanted to ask if her parents want to 收 another god daughter anot, no, 3 more..
 Me, Lynn and Ann HAHAHAH. totally loving the walk in wardrobe!!! 

and i super love Viv's bedsheet until I have the same one as hers now :) 

 

 

Had a mini surprise for Viv birthday, thanks to lynn and ann who bought the cake. Even thou our surprise failed rather terribly because she already saw the cake on the table haha.

 

After touring around, everyone sort of diffused into different part of the house. Most of us went to the living room, Lynn and marvin started playing pool while Ann enjoyed sitting on the bouncing chair.

The rest just nua-ed around the couch and watch documentaries..

Stayed till about 5pm and yohoo, end of our party. More to come more to come..

AHHHHHH..

I have finally gotten myself a new laptop from IT fair after waiting for so many months..
Give me some time, cant wait to blog too!

I need to transfer the super overdue photos and sort out the events sequence before I pay u all back what I owe u for the past 1 month :D

If one day it really happens....

I guess i missed my bf too much that i dreamt about him last night in batam.

It seems like i have not visited the shelter for quite sometime..

and when i finally had the chance to, there was no dog in sight in the kennel.

As i called out to tui, searching high and low for him, a medium sized dog (with severed skin problem) slowly walked up to me and snuggle in my arms.. it was so skinny that i can see its rib cage protuding out... that, is tui. he heard my voice and came up to me.....

why did he become like this?!?! 

is this the handsome and healthy tui that i know before???

Apart from the emaciated body frame and skin problem, his left eye was bloody and it became half blind :(

my heart was full of guilt for not being able to bring him home with me, which resulted in him suffering like this..

it seriously hurts alot to see him in this state... i cried as i hugged his wounded and skinny body... 

i went home and wrote a letter to him. which i dunno why ended up at a girl's hand. The girl was tui. (like wth i dunno suddenly he became a human and a SHE). We chatted and......

i woked up. 

zzz.

a very stupid and annoying dreamt which made me feel very uneasy after the "Where is nicole" dream.

4 Humans 8 Dogs

Last Sunday...

Woke up seeing Viv's whatsapp saying: "The rain finally stopped." It had been raining for more than 12 hours consecutively.

I look out of the window while still nua-ing on my bed and thought to myself: "Heng ah, now I can go to shelter in peace *Insert happy face* "

VA's attendance recently was quite bad...

Most of us are preoccupied with our personal commitments at this moment. Maybe its because its the start of the year and that CNY is nearing.

Time to get back on track people!! I miss u guys!!

This is one of the smallest pack walk we had for a long long time.

Minghui, Weijie, Vivien and Tricia went to Mutts and Mitten event to bring the dogs to the beach. Viv finally get to walk her favourite Bear Bear :)

So only got me, Yonglin, Chang Ming and Joei left to walk the ericsson's dogs..

I feel very sad in the morning. Because with only 4 humans, we have about 10-11 dogs waiting for us to bring them out. Taking into consideration that Saturday's packwalk was cancelled due to the heavy rain, if they didnt get to go out this time, they will have to wait for another week :(

We've got not enough hands and equipments ahhh!!!The four of us took quite awhile to settle the dogs because they keep running out of the kennel.. Jack, puopi and Jingle... tsk. surprising right, is these 3 instead of the 2 terrorists. Because both terrorists kena locked up hahhahaa. Even fat jack gian to go out, he ran to the gate and happily parked himself over there.

It was very the chaotic ahhh.. End up we tried to bring as many of them out as possible, one person to two dogs, and because the 2 terrorists is too difficult to handle at one go, we have no choice but to leave them behind. I swear my heart sank to the ground when I hear Nicole whine, and Joy gave us that sibeh sian face........

And so we went ahead with our small packwalk, was rather stress because some of the dogs that we bring out are from different pack, need to do co-ordination one leh. For me its easy because Im taking the fat siblings, confirm no problem.

Joei took Puopi and Jingle, luckily both of the same size, but I very scared Joei will fly if the both of them run at the same time :X

Yonglin had a weird combi also - Sasha and Jack. Really tak match. But because Jack dont have 狗缘 (popular among humans but unpopular among dogs), he had no choice but to partner whoever that can accept him.

Chang Ming/Meng one lagi worst - Peanut and baby, pulled him like siao. 

Our initial plan was to meet the others (Minghui they all) at the beach, but it seems quite far and risky to bring the dogs to beach as we had to pass by the slope with alot of heavy vehicles and we might not be able to handle the dogs then, so we switch to HDB :)

Both fat siblings were quite well behaved except for the part when we were walking out of the main road, they just refused to walk on the grass leh! After awhile my cute bf was walking nicely beside me ;D

I was super worried about the rest if they could cope or not. The bangalas looked at us like some chinggay parade when we passed by..

Over at the HDB, we at the fitness corner instead of the usual shelter.

Time for some workouts and obstacle training!!  We ran around and jumped over the "obstacles", my fat team was great!!! 肥肥但很有弹性，体力超强的 ～。～

We took turns to run round the neighbourhood before it started drizzling..

A few residents stopped by and look at us, some even came forward to pat our dogs :)

While walking back, we saw Vivien and Tricia at the opposite direction of the route, and to my surprise, they were walking Nicole and Joy!! 

Joei was still thinking of bringing them out for a short walk after the pack walk.

LOVE RIGHTTTTTTTT!!! This is VA! My morning sadness all gone liao, at least no one getys left behind :) Thank u Viv & Tricia for the extra effort <3
