Good bye Elliot.

I June 2015, Monday.

Dear Ellie hasn't been well for the past few months. He had seizures and is suspected of neurological problems causing him unable to move about properly. There came the time which Jeanine texted us that he kept having seizures non-stop since noon and had to be on drugs to calm him down. Once stop, the attacks will come back again. It was then he left the world the following day. I hope he is in a better place right now, without pain and sufferings. 

As with Miller, Elliot is one of the sweetest dog I've met. He is the oldest, but the smallest and patient dog in the big big house. 

He loves playing balls, you'd be surprise how high he can jump and use his nose to surf the ball back to you. 

Unlike the rest of the pack, he doesn't need to be leash when we goes for walk. He will quietly follow.. 

He always avoids fight, even when being attacked by Muddie with half his face tore, he did not fight back. (Or was it because he too weak to fight)? After that incident, I remember how he will always run to a corner whenever Muddie comes around him, there's once Indie came over to help Elli by blocking Muddie's way.

I love to bunk in with Elli and Miller despite Elli's smelly breath HAHA. And every time, we will have to carry him on and off the bed because he doesn't have the strength to. 

Please reunite with Miller in heaven. Keep in mind that you guys will always be love and stay in our hearts. 

In a way, Elliot is a lucky dog to be able to have Jeanine and fam as his family, although they always forget him somehow (leave in neighbour's house and neighbour have to knock the door and say: You forgot Elliot lol!). There's once we were chilling in the big big house and we suddenly realised, eh.. where is Elli!? so we searched the whole house and found him at the service yard behind kitchen area. And he gong gong just stand there and wait for miracle to happen, didn't even bark -_____-". 

Sometimes he is just too adorable with his little antics like these.

During ASD tea party, Elli just sat on the sofa quietly. Some times he will wander around but will eventually come back to our side. Like a baby.

Cam and Elliot are like best friends too. When Cam was young, Jean let Cam learn to walk with Elli.. Everytime a new vid was sent to us, we can see how cam grow and the walk became better. Now without Elli, Cam needs to train with Indie (LOL Seriously i think he needs like 10 years to train).

When big T meets small T (Toy & Tui first meeting)

You know hor, ever since I adopted Toytoy, I have been day-dreaming of letting them meet one another. I am very curious about what will both their reaction be like, will they fight? will they like each other? and I want to prove my parents wrong (that Tui is fierce and scary) HAHAH! My mum always say Toy will sure die if Tui were to attack her. But a part of me knows that somehow or rather, their character and frequency are about the same - Zen and hate dogs! HAHA! They prefer to be with humans, and both super dislike hyper active dogs, so just nice they wouldnt chase each other around and risk being attacked.

A year passed and I finally told myself, its now or never! JUST BRING ONLY!

And so we brought Toytoy down to farmway to pick Fatty Swissroll up. Imagine the mixture of excitement + nervousness + ah ji pa lang emotions when I brought Tui out of the farm.

Bip Bop Bip Bop.

Toytoy was in the front seat and fatty got onto the car behind. 

To my surprise, Toytoy gan gan BARK at Tui! (She usually doesnt do that to other dogs, the most she growl when they keep sniffing her and she has no where to run). 

Tui went over and tried to sniff her while wagging his tail ( AGAIN IM VERY AMAZED).

And then the small one decided to sit down properly. And so we drove over to Harlus~ 

On the way Toy popped her head to peep at Tui and this time round it's Tui's turn so he growled a little and I stopped him. Peace after that~

As it is their first meeting and I am still not sure if the dogs will ki siao and start fighting anot, I kept a distance away between the two. ya lah i kia su kia si. But why risk it right, slowly ma..

Somebody conquered his fear for big dog and gave Tui a big hug, then turn over and say: "You see even Tui accepted me".

This is also Toytoy's first trip to Harlus. Most of the time I only brought her out to dog cafes. I guess she prefers out door places like this.. See!

This is like their closest already. Tui went for a short walk, then walk over to sniff Toytoy and we quickly separate them. #kiasi 

Considering the fact that Tui is so anal to other dogs, this is very good already hor? :)

But most of the times he is more okay with small dogs as compared to dogs of his size. He tends to sniff the smaller dog butt and hump other smaller dog at the dog run -_-"

When one door closes, the other one opens. Wait, or was it window?

Haven't been penning down for 4 months now.

So, what have been going on in my animals-related life? Things have changed quite a fair bit.

Okay let me talk about the main things then:

1) Bidding farewell to "In the big big house" mates

Jeanine & family tgt with her lovely dogs (Indie, Elliot, Mudd and Billy) officially shifted to HK last week. It is really sad and we all know how much we will miss one another. Humans and dogs alike. The dinner dates, just chilling and drinking my capri-sonia strawberry drink which i will automatically help myself with once i reach her house, while the others help such as wj will help himself with beer LOL. The stay overs, heart to heart talks, cuddly sessions with her dogs, movie dates and of course the different birthday celebrations we had celebrated in this big big house..

Poor Indie lost 3 of her toe nails during the flight T_T wonder what happened to her. She's a strong girl, hope she will recover soon.

2) Happy times don't last forever thus we have to appreciate and enjoy every moment together

This goes for the times I spent with the shelter babies. Like my previous post said, dogs come and go but they leave their foot prints in our heart. Tiger aka Hercules went to the vet for his heartworm check up and (of course!) I visited him after work. But there's this one thing I really hate about visiting dogs at the clinic because I usually dont get to see them again or long after that. Think of the past few dogs that I have visited, don't wish to mention their names incase it makes some of you sadder upon reading this. I told Tiger: "Be a good boy and I will see you in shelter on Saturday with lots of nice food okay.."

As predicted, Jeanine managed to find a foster for him. Im happy for him because he deserves tender loving care in a good home. But i miss him dearly too, i guess its the same for Yvette, imagine your best friend/ boyfriend went to see doc and suddenly never come back again.. T_T

Luckily for me, I get to see him at ASD adoption drive that was held at The Papa Shop one to two weeks later. Couldnt describe how sweet a boy he is to you, but he was a lil... frustrated that day that he snapped at a few people which came as a shock to us because he has never done that to us in the past 6 months. But I do think he dont really like guys as a random guy tried to touch him at dog run and he growled/snap too.. hmmm.. oh well, if you love him, you will accept him for his everything. Everybody has their bad day too. Fatty Bobbi's sister.. shit.. i forgot the old name. was it brownie or briony. I think shes Briony, okay anyway she came down too! So happy to see the both of them playing together. Yvette met Tiger at the drive too, aww lovebirds get together for awhile.

Lili Lulu and Bree were slowly opening up more to us before they shifted over to Blk 2. Miss the girls..... Didnt had much time to visit them after they have shifted cause sometimes I go on Sundays.

Poor Happy Boy from opposite block must have missed the yummy extra food he get every week ever since the girls shifted. I see when I can bring you food ok Happy.. I miss u as much too.

Oh ya, and my hard work got repainted already T_T abit sad to see the walls become blank again but well, at least it beautified the kennels for a few months. Self Console.

3) Baikah, my block's community cat has been missing for about 1-2 months now.

First was Jackie the male cat which has been missing for 3 weeks, but i reckon he went to roam about. Then one fine day I decided to find Baikah to play with her when i return from work only to realise she's missing. Didnt had a good feeling about it. 2nd night I went again, couldnt find her again. The old aunties told me some one caught her. BUT WHO?! she's lamed, she's defenseless. On and off i do still pop by to walk around the neighborhood hoping to find her. I really hope that she has been picked up by some kind souls and they have adopted her. Sigh... If you who is reading this and happen to stay around Bedok North Ave 2 area, pls help me to keep a look out for Baikah .... I just wish to know that she's safe and not being brought to other places because of people who wants to play prank on her.

Thanks for being around when I needed some one to accompany me when Im sad. 

At this point of time. I felt a strong sense of helplessness and sadness. Why are all the animals that I love leaving me. Do we really have to part with them? Why cant things stay as it as forever. Well, I know I wont get any answers because these qns are stupid. And with all the animal abusing and abandonment stories/videos circulating in Facebook, I can only tell myself, help as much as I can, and cherish while they are still there. It's hard not to get emotional when I start to pen down things about the dogs and cat. sigh.

4) That apart. Something that is happier. Im glad that I found Singapore Shihtzu Club Group. Ever since I had Miumiu, I wished for a day that I can see a whole place full of Shihtzus running around and tadah! My dream come true haha! Had been to 2 gatherings for now and its really fun to mingle with fellow shihtzus lovers to share experience and chitchat. Their babies are damn cute I swear. I beow and aim-ed a few that I totally want to dog nap home. There's one male Shihtzu call John john looks like Toytoy except for his color. So we call him Pale toy and toytoy's nick name is Dark Johh HAHAHAH. Looking forward to the next gathering ;)

5) Tui boy is good. Am still bringing him out as often as I can. I dont know when will be the last time I will be seeing him because I dont know what the future will be like. But I hope that, in his life, I have given him a chance to feel love, to go to swimming pools and have as much fun as possible.

So far I have brought him to Mutts and Mitten for a swim, which I have stayed in the water longer than him -____- . Not cheap ok hahaha, dont waste la. We get the whole pool to ourselves and its so shiok and clean.

Bf brought us to botanic garden last Sunday. Impromptu trip but YAY another milestone achieved together. He was very well behaving even when he saw other dogs. Didnt growl at all that day, and he ran around like a big fat bunny. <3 Hope to bring him to Sentosa soon.

6) Toytoy lim is still the happy little fat dog. Nothing much for her except for her silly face everyday. Superrrr cute I cannot stand praising her. LOL. This morning while I was preparing for work, she woked up, and shifted.. Climbed up my pillow and *Bloop* there's a dent between my bed and the side so the pillow sank in and she got stuck there. This stupid girl just lie there in an awkward position and give me the *Save me save me* eyes. HAHA. Silly.
