Enough of barks, here's some meowism

One week of MC at home, somehow turned my body clock a tad upside down.

It's 11.37pm while Im typing this, and since im not feeling THAT tired. I reckon I should pen down another blogpost.

But then hor, too much dogs stuff in a week can be quite .... boring? (I know la, my blog not boring one right, thank u for your support ah thank you #dontknowwhereifindmyconfidence #thickskinned).

So here's something else about another type of Furry friend.

The CATS.

Like dogs, I used to be scared of cats as well.

Just that perhaps my reaction while I see them aint as big as compared to the times when i see dogs.
Nah.. I dont run, I siam.

As far as I can. Everytime Im at the kopitiam, and I see any cats passing by/near my table, I couldnt eat in peace. I would either cross my legs or lift them until the cats are gone.
WHO HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE ?! KI CHIU!

 

There was once a cat happened to walk past my chair without me realising and its tail bua-ed/brushed against my toe.... I SCREAMMEDDDD THE HELL OUT OF ME! the feeling was just so... disgusting.

Never had I really fancy cats until the start of this year. I dont know when but I slowly took notice of a fat cat below my block. She's always there when im walking home. Lying there like a fat ball.

 

 

So one fine night i decided to squat down and she came bua-ing herself against my legs. Nope, I didnt touch her yet. i have zero knowledge and idea about cats. And I dont think they behaved the same way like dogs. So to play safe, I let her bua me for a few different occassion before I started to pat her.

 

 

 

Oh! Haven tell you her name ah.. I named her Ah Hua, because her fur was a mixture of white orange and black.

So, once in a while I will popped over to the minimart and buy some cat food to feed her.. She will meow meow me and follow me to where ever place quickly. Shaking her big butt.. Ahh.. it reminds me of yenyen running.. Guess what I did while waiting for her to finish the food?

 

 

I squat there (until my leg cramp) and google about cats., whatsapped friends who have cats and try to fish out some basic info regarding these furries. And from one source, it says cats communicate by eye contact, so if you blink, it sort of means like you are friendly and submissive?

Ya la ya la and I did that la. I 猛 blink my eyes trying to 散播 electricity to Ah Hua hoping that she will be nice to me.

Lol. like an idiot. zzz.

I got very excited about my new friend, so I showed her my human friends. Unfortunately, the brave humans got scratched. Joei and Des kena, and I witnessed it. I was like, wah.. jiang fierce! Heng i only touch her head. (ok joei attempted to touch ah hua's tummy)..

Jieying came to visit Ah Hua too when they came to pick me. And Ah hua walked us to the carpark which she dont usually hang around. Like sweet ah.. Soon after that, jieying found her own love - 177 Huahua, another cat with the same color combi as my Ah hua, below her block HAHA.

Ah hua likes to slp and hang around at the Ah pek corner (Senior citizen's corner), and I will go down to look for her high and low. Its rather weird because everyone will just start staring at you. NEVER SEE BEFORE PPL FIND CAT MEH. zzzz mehhhhhhhhh. Hate that feeling la. Just feel like an alien.

 

 

Ok, back to point. So sometimes I find Ah hua, she will follow me to bus stop to wait for bus also leh. Like very Love hor.. hehehe.. 

 

 

I like the way when i call her den she faster run and follow me. So cute. There's once I played with her awhile den i decided to go home first i ask her to wait for me below my block that lift, oh well i didnt expect her to really do that la, you know humans, 自己讲自己爽。 BUT SHE DID! WHOO !!

Cats are rather unpredictable hor? I can site example.. I was sitting down and petting Ah hua, letting her brush her 100years never bath de fur on me. She pushed her whole head against my thigh and rub and brush like a shiok only, normal right? Very sweet and awwww right? Next moment she open her mouth and i can feel her teeth !! Simisai! I cua tio and pushed her away (she got balance hor they very zai one can maintain, dont worry). Then after tat I learnt to look out for their crazy moments liao.

Ok, thats about my cat story part #1. I only got 2 cats in my life lah, another one is Bai kah. More love than Ah hua.. Ah hua abit attitude at times one. feeling like boxing her sometimes.

Cat lady

For my own keepsake, im copying whatever I posted on facebook here because in months or years to come, I doubt I will be able to track by the bloody timeline to find back what I posted.

 

And i think it serves as a good reminder for myself. In all aspect of life.

Ok, screw it, i went ahead to bring the box down. and i had a nice chat with a lady whom i have been scared of all these yrs since i was 7, i call her the cat woman cause she always feed the cats ard my neighbourhood. Amazingly after 16 yrs, and when i finally open up myself to step out of my comfort zone to talk to her, she is a really nice person. She thanked me for bringing the box for the cat...s to slp, and told me she has been feeding for a long long time, many residents complained/warned/threatened her when they see her feeding the cats and told her it is illegal. Some even mocked at her for being too free n waste money, she told them: whats wrong with that? I would rather starve and feed the cats, but its my business,what has it got to do with u.

true. talk about compassion.

And theres this cat below my blk constantly dragging her legs in an awkward manner, i finally know why. because somebody went to whack it jus cos they thought that thats the cat that poo outside their door. SIMISAI?!

You dont jus go ard breaking ppl's leg for the slightest reason, and you dont even have prove that its the cat! i hear already sibeh angst. idiot! some even complained that the cat poo outside (on the grass), seriously!! WHERE THE HELL U EXPECT STRAY CATS TO POO SIA! TOILET BOWL AH?!

anyway. the lady told me: ah girl ah you faster go home la, the haze very serious.. and so i left after saying goodnight to her. shes not that scary after all.. at least she've got a kind heart..  
And I understand that by posting such things, I bound to gain supporters (from friends and families) and sarcasm at the same time. Well, Im not in the mood to joke about this because I feel that, if you cant help the animals/less fortunate ppl/elderly or contribute to the society or think its lame to be doing all these, don't do it. No one's forcing you to like or love or follow what we do, but please, at the very least, just keep whatever comments you have to yourself. 

 

and that's why i said:

It isnt easy to keep doing what you think is right and ignore all the 'colored lenses', weird stares and negative comments from people. Some of them are ignorant, some of idiots and some out of good will but they just dont understand why you do the things you do.
I salute the lady and all the other stray feeders/rescuers and vollies whom are able to stand still and continue to do what they deem is correct. So long as we are not harming others nor doing things that are against our conscience, dont stop. We cant please everyone in this world, so we've got to learn when to listen to others and when to jus ignore.

Lets all learn to practice ZEN zzzzzz.
