WAHH, This gonna be such a huge ass post with overflowing pictures of my cute little Toytoy.

I know I very hao lian & buay hiao bai, but... you cant deny that she's cute. MUAHAHAHA.

Okay, it all happened very suddenly. Thou the thought of becoming a fosterer did came across my mind more than once but I wasn't planning to be one that fast.

13 October 2013

On a lazy afternoon at home, I randomly receive a text from 3E's rescuer to ask if I could help foster a Shihtzu that she just rescued from a boarding kennel near where we usually help out at. She was said to be given up by a woman and over at the scam boarding place, all the dogs are in super bad condition, full of ticks and survived on uncooked rice. Sibeh chui.

Im like...er... (Oh shit. Shihtzu's my soft spot).

Then came this picture..

WA LAO HOW TO NOT LOVE?!

Sis was beside me and she was like: BRING HOME BRING HOME !

then I went to show papa and mama the pic and said to mama (in the room)..

Me: "cute hor this dog", "just rescued one leh.. if don't save her people going to put her to sleep and she will die!!", "can we take her in anot??"..

Then mama said: "I okay lah, you go and ask your papa first...". -____-"

so I tried my luck and walked out to the living room with my phone, look at papa, and showed him the pic again and said: "papa, very cute hor? (The dog, not my dad very cute), can let her stay a few days anot?...... (I haven't finish my story to convince him) and his reply WOW-ed me.

Papa: "I know what you all are up to lah, okay lah"

Me: " OMG how you know what I want to say @.@

Papa: "You all inside so long, whisper whisper, I agar agar know already haha"

then he laugh.

then me and sis : YAYYYYYY!!

I then told Joan that I can foster this dog and she asked me to give it a name. I asked Mummy and she said, since she look like soft toy dog, call her Toytoy lor.

就将（这样）。。。Her name was settled within 5 mins. LOL.

So that evening, Joan and Arthur brought Toytoy over along with many barang barang. Thou i have had Miumiu before, but I wasnt really super experienced in having a dog at home.

She passed me pee pads, clothes, harness, leashes, tons of toys and blablabla..

Those were the days when u can still see her bones on her neck. Now its filled with layers of fats. tsk.

Toytoy settled down rather quickly and she began exploring my room machiam her own house.

(I think dogs like my room ah, Tui also did that when he first came over)

Then she start playing with her toys *Yiyi orhorh*

Oh! I get this question very SUPER often: Her tongue cannot keep one ah?

Ya lor, cannot keep one. Too long.

The first night when she sleep, I super stress, keep waking up to dab water on her tongue to keep it moistured cause I scared it will dry up and crack -__-". But I suddenly enlightened myself.. If she can survive so many years with her tongue out, I dont see why cant she do that now. Lol, so i went back to slp in peace. HAHAHA.

Looking back at her old pics, I feel so weird. So skinny and ke lian looking...

TOytoy loves toys

After 2 weeks with her, I guess my whole family fell in love with this little monster. Okay lah, she's not exactly a monster, she's an angel too. Her character and temperatment totally gel-ed into my family. And she loves to be cuddled. (my parents carry her like carrying their grand daughter zzz)

Papa even made her a "home" where she will bring her mum mum and toys in to enjoy by herself.

Brought her to Marina Barrage:

During the day, she will accompany my parents at home.

Thanks to mummy and daddy for taking care of her when Im at work..

No shes not dead. Just... erm.. taking her afternoon nap

*PS: U should totally hear how she snores at night. ZzZzzZz*

My parents seem to have a lot of fun with her too..

They brought her for walks - even longer walks than I bring her..

Im amazed at how my mum manage to take these nice and clear pictures of Toytoy when her Hp skills sucks. LOL

Mummy even brought her out when she meet her friends on bicycle. HAHAH.

Celebrating Halloween with us. Nah, i was packing the Halloween sweets and she came over to Kaypo

Oh.. I was wrapping Christmas presents one night (ikr i keep wrapping things) and she kept coming over and step all over my wrappers so I found a tub and put her in. Surprisingly she k.o-ed almost immediately and TADAH! That became her bed.

Oh yea, that supposed to MY BLANKET. T_T

This is how she sleeps.

This girl came a long way too. Just rescued, she was full of ticks, Joan they all had to detick her and bath her many times before bringing her to me. Then she had eye infection, so gotta put antibiotic eyedrops for 2 weeks.

She's a fierce little chilli padi I tell you.

You see her small small hor, will growl and bite one okay! (But this is to be expected lah, that kind of environment that she came from, gotta fight for food and space). Though she tried to bite us or have already bitten us a few times, She's generally very chill one. And her bite, tsk. No threat. HAHHAHAHA.

Brought her to the vet and she growl and snap like siao when they wanted to vaccinate her. The vet tech gotta use a towel to wrap and grab her tightly. She was 4.7kg then. 2 weeks later, she went for review, and she had slight ear infection, so had to put medicated ear solution for another 2 weeks.

Going for her vaccine, kaypo dog.

Then came her pee-ing problem. She pee everywhere. It actually only took her like 3-5 days to be toilet trained. she knows where she should be but just decided to do it else where. On my bed, my papa's bed, my room, living room, kitchen.. etc etc..

Wearing pampers cause she couldn't control her bladder..

I thought was UTI but she start to pee blood and have discharged. So, Toytoy's off to the vet again. zZz. She was then diagnosed with bladder stones. Sigh. So again, she was given 2 weeks of antibiotic to eat. SO MANY MED SIA, her poor body. It pains us to see her pee-ing forcefully and every 10 secs few drops few secs few drops.

She happened to pee out one small section of the stone.

Thanks to Sandra's recommendation, I managed to book an appointment at The Animal Doctors to remove her stone.

And so, she had her surgery done on 9 Dec 13. Picked her up and she was looking like that:

I carried her like a baby through out the car ride home and lay her down on a pillow carefully, machiam she's as fragile as those glass items. The minute I put her down, she flipped over and walk towards her water bowl to drink like she didn't have any surgery. Im like -_______-". This little strong girl recovered rather quickly and was able to run by the 4th day. And she managed to recover in time for VA Xmas party!

She doesn't really like to mingle with other dogs. Miller came to sniff her and she growled at him. Then miller the giant ran off LOL.

This Christmas, there's ANOTHER new addition to toytoy's family - YOTYOT.

Yotyot was not adopted. I bought her from Isetan Atrium Sales during xmas as a present for my mum because she keeps telling Toy: Lai, come to mummy. Mummy kiss u, mummy mummy mummy... WHEN I SUPPOSE TO BE TOY DE MUMMY LEH!!! LOL.

Yotyot came in a box like this:

And mummy thought it was a real dog for like 10 mins, poking her finger on Yotyot's butt and asking me: Will she jump up and bite me anot.. I scared she suddenly bite me.. i told her: shhh... she's sleeping.. dun disturb her HAHAH.

And so toytoy became best friend with Yotyot.

Their markings are almost identital.. the head, body and even tail!

She got motive one..

Every morning after i wake up and brought her out to the living room, she will go MIA (Missing in action). I cant find her in my room/ mummy's room/ living room.. Cause she will silently crept into the box and slp. Blind spot ah. I always forget shes there.

Mummy used her as our xmas deco:

Time flies and its our first Chinese New Year with her, our new family member. Brought her to visiting with us and she melted a lot of my relatives' heart. She will just nua one corner and look at us play our cards our walk around the house to check out the surrounding. Sometimes she's quiet until we forgot her existence kind. LOL.
