Our shelter dogs: ITE Boys

Have you heard of the ITE boys?
If you have not, pls click on the link below to watch their video. Video was created by Minghui ;)

Theres another link in youtube done by tuckwah
(sosd's chairman)

If you are to lazy or unable to watch, i shall explain to you:

These 2 boys were found in Yishun Ite last year/ early this year (I cant really rmb) and the management called Ava to catch the dogs.
Videos and pictures of the way the boys were captured were circulating all over the internet, especially STOMP.

Its really quite heartaching to see how they were rounded, dragged, struggled and dumped into the van with a loud thud- Muddie was the unlucky one..

Aiya, picture says a thousand words, you should find ways to watch the video in order to feel it.

When I watch the clips on STOMP initially, never had I thought I would have the chance to see and interact with these 2 boys, and Im glad I did.

Ok, back to story.. While authorities find that the both of them are deemed aggressive and scheduled to be put to sleep, their saviour appeared.

SOSD took them in and a kind hearted lady Jac (who is now our regular volunteer :P) volunteered to rehab and help them.

Meet the ITE BOYS :
MUDDIE & HANDSOME

The following months comes with lots of patience and sweat for them to build trust in human again.

I remember seeing how muddie flip like a fish (exactly like what he did when he was caught) when we tried to leash and walk him.

Slowly but surely and with the help of FOOD AND TREATS (those are great tools to 骗 dogs that are greedy) the both of them slowly opened up..

MUDDIE
- Medium size with floppy ears
- Black coat (becoming choco brown now)
- Can flip like a fish
- Very shameless now
- Knows how to pose for nice angle thus the extensive no.of photos
Trying to act pitiful uh
- Super greedy
- was afraid of swimming initially but after intense swimming by cesar soo, he finally overcome his fear and swim like a duck
Our Ah beng teaching Muddie to swim and correcting my boy friend (on the left) most prob bcos he growl at my 2nd and 3rd bf
- Opposite to Momo, muddie is like a sunshine, always smiling, and trying to act cute
- He managed to walk across the obstacle course bridge because he wanted to eat the treats that Ning ad Jac were holding

- There's once back in the shelter, Muddie was greeting us eagerly behind the kennel and We found shit on his head. LITERALLY. We've got no idea how and where the shit comes from, but its very funny.
- He is one lucky fella to get fostered by our loving Vivien. Thats like the best thing that can happen to him for now.
Cause we are so sure that He will be in good hands. <3

HANDSOME
- Same size as muddie, but a more handsome face.
- He got that coolcool and quiet look
 Shuai ma?
- brownish black coat with distinctive rottweilier markings (two dot on his forehead)
- more timid and took a longer time to open up
- but once he is in the dog park... *ding ding ding* Tail's up!

- He managed to 放电 to peanut and now she is gaga over him.
- Very very sticky to Muddie.
When we are going for pack walk, he will whine and whine when muddie is out of sight. And will always try to catch up with Mud:
- He too was afraid of waters initially..

But he was too sticky to mud he decided to just go into the pool (all by himself!) just to catch up with his brother. And he did a total of like 5 rounds. Argh. i will try to upload the video here.. You've got to see it forr yourselves!

- Handsome was luckier than Muddie by a abit because he went to foster home 2 weeks before Muddie. And his foster family loves him so.

These wonderful pics are taken by no friend lynn

Look at how focused they are.. with Tricia

Such wonderful love:)

Remember, If we humans are willing to give them a chance to live, they will show you how they can transform and become wonderful companions.
Muddie and buddie are real-life examples.

Hope their story will touch your heart and have a great day/night!
