Hello!!
Havent had time to update this space for the past week. Am glad that I have supportive readers who will feel sad when I never update HAHA. No choice ah, I need to faster revise finish for my test in order to participate in this special event of ours. Its so important to me that I HAVE to be part of it despite having a paper on Sun morning. SQUEEZEEEEED my time.
If you still dont know or have never heard of Project LOL before, it stands for Labour of Love.
A day where all humans get together and build a paradise for the dogs. (In a nice way, in a more crude way is a kio sai day :P) We might not have much land, much money and much space, but we hope to do the best for the dogs, BECAUSE WE LOVE THEM.

Since one or two weeks ago, we started gathering humans and equipments. Thanks to Minghui and Ruiling who played a big part in co-ordinating this whole event. Lots of paper work and backend job to be done. Allocation of resources and human capital. LOL!! I study too much HR already.

This day, all our regular volunteers came down to support, some even bring along family members, mum, sis and ah lao (spouse) over!! 全家出动啊！ You see, all got big heart one leh..

I reached the shelter abt 130 when the rest are out having lunch. Richard and Gilbert came not long after... and soon the rest came back.

This little dog here captivated most of our hearts, it was looking at us when we took turns to paint the kennel beside it. She will try her best to look at us, so near yet so far :(

So small..
Sometimes its the company that matters, most of us had no prior experience in painting whatsoever but everyone gladly and hardworking-ly paint our day through. If you put me to do CIP with my classmate to paint, i confirm complain like there's no tomorrow.. But while Im painting here with the rest, I feel very happy, the kind of happy that can make u forget about how tired your hands are.
Also maybe because this is like the last thing we could do as a proper team before our Ah beng 'golden bucket wash hand'. Tsk dun say those emo stuff lol.
At least in one part of our memory we worked together, sweat together and laugh together while building this paradise together, whether or not the people (in the future who will be taking over as IC) will cherish and take good care of this little space, we cant control.. So just hope for the best for the dogs..

In every AWG, nobody is indisposable yet everyone plays a special part. Behind those marketing, fame, attention, pride and politics, there's always people who put down their pride, working in the back-end, doing all the jobs that might seem insignificant and gain no recognition from the public. These people, are truely the ones whom I had total respect for.
